Moonstone is also said to enhance qualities most influenced by the divine feminine, such as intuition, passion, nurturing energy, adaptation, and more. It is thought to bring feminine and masculine energies into balance. Moonstone is most helpful for aligning the Third Eye chakra and Crown chakra.

Black Moonstone specifically has extra focus on New Moon energy, or the beginning of things. It is a wonderful stone to bring out for new relationships, jobs, homes, pregnancies, or any new endeavor. It is especially powerful during a New Moon, and very suitable for New Moon rituals. Black Moonstone is more grounding than other varieties of Moonstone, but more gentle than Root chakra crystals, such as Black Tourmaline.
