Orgonite is a combination of crystal and metal in resin, and it is based on Wilhelm Reich’s scientific research culminating in the existence of what he termed orgone energy. A quartz crystal is added because of its piezoelectric properties, which means that it gives off a charge when it is put under pressure. Resin shrinks when it cures, therefore placing the quartz crystal under constant pressure. It is said that the elements contained in orgonite are constantly attracting and repelling energy, causing a “scrubbing” action, and this, along with the charge that the crystal gives off, this cleans stagnant and negative energy.

Crystal wands can be used for relaxation, regeneration, pain relief, anti-aging facial massage, and energetic balancing. During the massage, the crystal wand is thought to transmit its energy to the body, triggering the body's ability to heal itself. The rounded end of a crystal wand can be used for massage, while the pointed end is used to apply pressure to reflexology points.
